Just like the concept of a pub, The Legend of Saint Patrick is a cornerstone of Irish tradition that is known and celebrated all around the globe. Regarded as Ireland’s foremost patron saint, St. Paddy is credited with converting the country to Christianity before his death in AD 461. Legends surrounding this historical figure include him driving all the snakes of Ireland into the sea, and on another occasion transforming himself and his companion into wild deer so they could escape ambush while on their way to preach at the Hill of Tara.
On 17 March each year we celebrate St. Paddy’s Day with the rest of the world to honour his legend, and raise a toast to Ireland’s unforgettable traditions, culture and people that inspired our restaurant.
